Lotus Cleaning Co. — Terms & Conditions

(A light read, a sparkling clean!)

1. Arrival Window & Access

Our team arrives between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Mon–Fri).Check your Client Dashboard for real-time updates on arrival. Not home? Please provide secure entry details (key, code, etc.) ahead of time.

2. Pricing & Extra-Time Fees

We’re a flat-rate service, meaning the price is based on the job, not the clock. We stay until your booking is complete. Prices only change if:

You’ve made major renovations or rearranged significantly
You add to the agreed scope of work
The home requires extra labour (thick buildup, excessive clutter) If it’s been 20+ days since a professional clean—or things are especially messy—we’ll add our Heavy-Duty flat rate a deep cleaning fee may apply.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. All bookings and invoices will be sent to your email. We accept credit/debit and e-transfer. Outstanding balances over 3 days will be charged a late fee. Overdue balances over 30 days, will be charged a collection fee and may be referred to collections agency.

4. Biological & Hazardous Waste

We do not handle biological or hazardous material (including pet waste, pest infestations, or blood). If conditions are unsafe, we may pause service and a call-out fee will apply.

5. “Closed Drawer / Closed Door” Policy

Closed means closed—unless you request otherwise! Want inside a cabinet, closet, or drawer cleaned? Just let us know before your appointment.

6. Parking

Please ensure easy parking access. Paid parking fees (if any) will be added to your invoice.

7. Documentation & Photos

Our team may take before/after photos for quality control or training—never for public use unless we have your permission.

8. Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid fees:

24–48 hours: 25% of booking
Less than 24 hours: 50%
Same-day (less than 4 hours): 100%
To reschedule, contact us ASAP.

9. Pet Policy

We love your furry friends! 🐾 Please let us know about pets in advance. If they’re anxious, please secure them during our visit.

10. Recruitment Fee

Hiring a Lotus team member privately within 24 months of their last appointment incurs a $2,500 fee.

11. Damage & Breakage

If something happens, your cleaner will notify you immediately. We’ll work with you to make it right.

12. Service Pause & Price Updates

Pausing recurring service for 6+ weeks? We’ll need to schedule a restart deep clean at current rates.

13. Appointment Duration

We focus on quality, not the clock. Your booking covers the work needed to make your space shine.

14. Lotus Satisfaction Guarantee

If you’re not satisfied, let us know within 24 hours. We’ll happily come back and address any missed spots at no extra cost.
